Is the risk of getting pregnant unwanted is high after taking EllaOne?

Good morning. On the night of August 13/14, we had sex with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, the condom broke. I took the ellaone tablet on August 15 after 1 p.m. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to accept it earlier. According to the calendar, 15.08 is the day of ovulation. Is the risk of getting pregnant unwanted?

To @Ona0212: no early abortifacients are registered in Poland, i.e. removing an already existing pregnancy. There are also restrictive regulations regarding abortion, i.e. abortion.

However, if this unwanted pregnancy appeared, is it possible for the gynecologist to prescribe early abortifacient tablets?

Ulipristal acetate (the active ingredient in EllaOne) inhibits or delays ovulation, even just before it occurs. However, in the event that ovulation has already occurred, ulipristal acetate is not effective. On average, 1-2% of women (or 1-2 in 100) become pregnant despite the use of emergency contraception. However, there is no tool to calculate the risk in each individual case. The day of ovulation calculated solely on the basis of the calendar may be imprecise, so the tablet "after intercourse" can be taken on any day of the cycle, but this should be done as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse.
