Is it normal to have bleeding at the first pack of Evra patches?

He uses Evra patches. I switched to them from pills. So this is my first pack of patches. Yesterday I put on the third patch and today I got my period, why did this happen? Should I normally take a week break after removing this third patch or immediately stick another one from the new package? Thank you for odp

If the transition from tablets to the EVRA transdermal system was made correctly, you have ruled out possible errors in the use of patches such as peeling off the patch, then during the first few cycles it is possible to experience unexpected bleeding or spotting from the genital tract. The woman's body needs to get used to the delivered dose of hormones. The use of EVRA should be continued with a carefully established regimen (i.e. take a one-week break after removing this third patch). Only in the event that the bleeding persists for more than three cycles, you should consult the attending physician.
