I take the contraceptive pill Axia Conti 24+4. How many times in a row can I skip placebo pills to bypass the "period," i.e., withdrawal bleeding? Is skipping a placebo 2 months in a row harmful to health? Does skipping a placebo negatively affect the effectiveness of contraception?

The tablets have been designed in such a way that placebo skipping does not occur. This does not affect the effectiveness of contraception, but regular skipping of placebo tablets and using only active tablets leads to a situation in which withdrawal bleeding occurs anyway, in the form of spotting sometimes lasting for a whole month - you get the opposite effect to the intended one. Certainly, it also has an impact on the entire hormonal balance of the body, when it is not allowed to bleed from withdrawal. You can afford such a situation at one time, but I would not advise you to abuse such a practice.
