Good morning, Last night I forgot to take the last contraceptive pill from the Vines pack. I took it this morning (14.5 hours later), and theoretically from today to Tuesday I should take placebo pills. In this scheme, I always have withdrawal bleeding on Tuesdays, and I start the new packaging on Wednesday. Therefore, should I start another pack of tablets on the day, which is always (Wednesday), or 1 day later? Will bleeding occur despite this mistake? As far as possible, I would like to maintain the current pattern of taking pills.

If you miss the last active tablet of Vines, you can proceed in 2 different ways: 1) Take the missed tablet as soon as possible, then skip taking the placebo tablets and start using the Vines active tablets from the new pack. Bleeding is likely to occur only after you have finished using the new blister. At the end of the second Vines blister, spotting or mid-cycle bleeding may occur. 2) Stop taking active tablets and switch to placebo tablets. The interval between blisters of active tablets should not exceed 4 days. This means that if you have replenished a forgotten tablet, you should start using a new blister of Vines active tablets without taking an additional break. This will ensure that contraceptive effectiveness is maintained: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81748/vines-tabletki-powlekane/apteki More about how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje "Restoration" of the old regimen of taking Vines pills may occur due to a reduction in the time taken by placebo pills between subsequent packages of the drug.
