Does EllaOne weaken the effectiveness of the Ginoring disc?
Hello, I use Ginoring for the third month, I was forced to take ellaone the day after inserting the puck, because I put it 3 hours after the "deadline". What will the effectiveness of the next disc look like? Will it work immediately or those first 7 days to use additional mechanical contraception?

Ulipristal acetate (the active ingredient in the EllaOne tablet) may reduce the effectiveness of the Ginoring contraceptive disc. In this case, additional protection, e.g. condoms, should be used for the next 4 weeks - until the start of the next menstrual cycle.
