Good morning. On June 9, I had intermittent intercourse, the day before I planned to ovulate according to the application. On June 10, the day of ovulation, 13 hours after intermittent intercourse, I took the EllaOne tablet. The expected date of menstruation is June 25/26. Plus minus sometimes 2 days. So far, I have not got a period. I did 2 pregnancy tests with a sensitivity of 20 beta HCG. They came out negative. I am 36 years old. Can I be pregnant or is it just a side effect of the emergency pill? Thank you.

After taking EllaOne, menstrual bleeding may occur a few days earlier or later than expected. According to the available data, about 18.5% of women may delay menstrual bleeding by more than 7 days, and in 4% of women in the study, the delay was more than 20 days. A negative pregnancy test performed at the time of the expected menstruation should already detect pregnancy if it happens.
