What to do if I have not taken a dose of contraceptive?

Hello, I just realized that I have one too many birth control pills in the package. It follows that I had to unconsciously one day not accept it. I don't know when, but I had to forget and overlook. What should I do in such a situation? I took the rest of the blister regularly and by the end of the package I had 6 tablets left, one of which should not be. Please help.

If it is not known in which week of contraception the dose is missed, the risk of pregnancy should be taken into account, if no bleeding occurs while taking placebo tablets, a pregnancy test should be performed. The management of missed doses may vary depending on which tablet in the pack is not taken. You can take the general procedure, which is to take the contraceptive pill as soon as possible after remembering that you missed the dose, even if it means taking two pills at the same time. Then, for a period of 7 days after the missed dose, additional contraceptive protection should be used, e.g. a condom. Please indicate the name of the preparation used.
