How do I switch from Vibin to Implanon NXT?

Good morning, I will be changing the Vibin contraceptive pills to the Implanon NXT contraceptive implant. I do not know if I understand the information contained in the leaflet correctly. I will have the implant on day 3 of the placebo Vibin tablets. Is this within the recommended time of implant placement?

To @Magda: Yes, the leaflet shows that if the implant is placed on day 3 of placebo, contraceptive protection is preserved.

I understand, unfortunately the first placebo pill falls on Saturday, so Monday is the first term. Of course, I will ask the gynecologist, but does the leaflet show that despite putting on a placebo on the 3rd day, the implant works immediately and no additional protection is needed for 7 days?

Vibin tablets contain 21 yellow tablets - with hormones and 7 white placebo tablets, without any active ingredients. A record in the Implanon NXT documentation states that in your case it would be best to put on the implant immediately after the end of taking 21 yellow tablets. At the latest, the implant should be placed on the day when you should start the next vibin pack. Placing an implant on the third day of placebo tablets is within the recommended way to start using the method. In case of doubt, it is worth consulting a gynecologist who puts on an implant.
