No, drinking orange juice 5 minutes after taking the Orlifique tablet and defecating will not reduce the effectiveness of contraception. However, it is not recommended to drink orange juice shortly after taking the contraceptive pill. It may slow down the metabolism of estradiol (a component of tablets), which, although it will not lead to a decrease in their effectiveness, may increase the risk of side effects (e.g. vomiting or diarrhea).
