Why do my breasts hurt after pills?
I have been taking Atywia Daily contraceptive pills for a year. I am after menstruation and I have been taking white pills for a week, my breasts are terribly tender and swollen. I did pregnancy tests and they came out negative. What could be causing this? I have never had problems with pills.

When using contraceptive pills, tenderness, pain, breast swelling are common side effects that occur in a significant proportion of patients. This symptom does not necessarily herald pregnancy, perhaps you react to these particular pills in this way. If the problem is burdensome for you - please go to the doctor to change the preparation to another.
