In the literature, no interaction between substances present in maca root and drugs has been reported. Maca root supplementation is not contraindicated in patients taking Trittico CR. However, the body's reaction to the preparation should be observed and if any disturbing symptoms are observed, its use should be discontinued. One of the contraindications to taking maca root are thyroid diseases. Also, patients who suffer from kidney failure should carefully use maca root due to the large amounts of potassium it contains. Men who treat inflammation of the prostate gland should abandon maca root therapy.
