Can I replace Accupro with Simvacard if I think it is better for my blood results?

The drugs Accupro and Simvacard are not substitutes, they are prescription and work on two completely different parameters . Therefore, you cannot use them at your own discretion, only after self-interpretation of the results of the study and the content of the leaflet. Accupro allows you to lower blood pressure, thanks to which it is indicated in hypertension and heart failure. Simvacard contains simvastatin, which is a medicine used to lower the level of total cholesterol in the blood. Thanks to this, it counteracts atherosclerosis and its consequences. Accupro does not replace Simvacard and vice versa. If you give up Accupro, the effect regulating blood pressure will disappear, which will not be regulated by the cholesterol preparation. However, these drugs can complement each other in reducing cardiovascular risk. As I mentioned, both drugs have such a strong effect that they are prescription.
