If necessary, the daily dose may be gradually increased by one 6 mg capsule at half-weekly or weekly intervals. Usually, the dose range is from 6 mg to 24 mg once a day. Clinical experience indicates that the administration of 12 mg once a day (2 capsules of 6 mg) is the optimal dose for most patients and that the use of a dose of 24 mg is rarely necessary - so the drug can be taken during the day, it is also possible to take it in the morning.
