Good morning I am 20 years old from June 2021 taking vines tablets. All this period of time I was getting bleeding at night with 3/4 tablet of placebo. Today for the first time I did not get bleeding. Take the tablets regularly at about the same time Max 1 hour earlier or later. Can I be pregnant?

If you use the pills correctly and systematically, you have not vomited or diarrhoea and you have not taken medicines that could weaken the effect of contraception, then the risk of pregnancy is negligible. Properly used hormonal contraception provides more than 99% effectiveness in protecting against unplanned pregnancy. The absence of withdrawal bleeding may be the result of pregnancy, but sometimes this situation may occur even though it has not occurred. The Vines documentation puts it this way: 'What to do if there is no withdrawal bleeding on the days of taking the placebo tablets: If all the tablets were taken correctly, there was no vomiting or severe diarrhoea and no other medicines were taken, it is very unlikely that the woman was pregnant. If the expected bleeding does not occur twice consecutively, it may indicate pregnancy. Contact your doctor immediately. Do not start the next pack until you are sure that you are not pregnant." If you are concerned or if there are circumstances that may interfere with the operation of the tablets, you can take a pregnancy test.
