Can stress and malnutrition reduce the abundance and delay the onset of withdrawal bleeding?

Hello. I have been taking Vines 24+4 contraceptive pills for over a year now. In February, I did not experience withdrawal bleeding, only a negligible 2 days when I started a new package. Could it be due to the enormous stress of about a month and poor nutrition during this time?

Yes, stress and malnutrition can affect the withdrawal bleeding profile – bleeding can then be less abundant than usual. If the tablets were taken correctly, there is no reason to worry.
