If I took the first Axia Conti tablet on the first day of menstruation, am I immediately protected from pregnancy?

Hello, I just started taking contraception, tablets Axia Conti 24 + 4. Tomorrow will be 6 days since I take them, so far I have no side effects or symptoms. I started taking on the first day of menstruation. Do the tablets work right away? Do I have to wait a few days before intercourse can occur?

Yes, if you took the first tablet on the first day of physiological menstruation, protection is maintained from the first tablet. It is not necessary to use an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom during intercourse.
