Can taking a large dose of vitamin C at one time reduce the effectiveness of contraception or is it only with long-term use? I mean 3 rutinoscorbins in the morning and Vitamin C 1000 in the evening.

There is little data that a dose of vitamin C can affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception (both single and long-term). This issue is still being discussed, although when exceeding 1000 mg, I would recommend using additional protection for 7 days. I am attaching a study that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/app/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
