Is it normal for me to experience severe abdominal pain during withdrawal bleeding?

Is it normal that during withdrawal bleeding I am accompanied by the same symptoms as with ordinary menstruation? I have been taking vines birth control pills for half a year. However, my bleeding continues with quite severe abdominal pain. During the current bleeding, the pain dragged on until day 3, accompanied by diarrhea and nausea. Is this normal? I will add that my weight increased when bleeding, could it cause water to stop during bleeding?

If you have been accompanied by severe abdominal pain and other such symptoms during menstruation so far, it is very likely that they will also appear during artificially induced withdrawal bleeding with contraceptive pills. On the other hand, in most women who had experienced severe pain during menstruation in the past, the symptoms disappeared with the start of contraceptive therapy. "The use of hormonal contraceptive pills in most cases of dysmenorrhea brings relief to women, because the menstrual cycle during their use is regulated, ovulation does not occur and sensitivity to systolic factors is likely to decrease. In addition, menstruation caused by a break in taking the drug is generally shorter and more stingy. They can be a good solution for women in whom analgesics and diastolic drugs have brought little improvement, and who at the same time are looking for protection against unwanted pregnancy. All such preparations are available on prescription – the choice of the type of drug is made by a gynecologist." Weight gain during bleeding is typical and may be associated with water retention in the body.
