ellaOne nie jest tabletką wczesnoporonną, w związku z czym krwawienie po jej przyjęciu nie jest oznaką poronienia.
ellaOne ma za zdanie opóźnić owulację, a krwawienie po jej przyjęciu występuje u wielu kobiet i daje żadnej gwarancji, że pigułka zadziałała.
