I have a question, maybe a little different than all but it bothers me a little whether a longer holding of the contraceptive pill with water in the mouth will somehow affect its effectiveness?

Takie pytanie padało już wielokrotnie na naszym forum. Nie badano, czy przetrzymanie tabletki antykoncepcyjnej z wodą w buzi wpływa na jej skuteczność, gdyż producenci nie zakładają, że pacjentki mogą tak postępować. Nie ma racjonalnych powodów, które tłumaczą cel przetrzymywania tabletki antykoncepcyjnej w ustach - nie są to tabletki ulegające rozpadowi w jamie ustnej, lecz przeznaczone do połykania.

Jeśli obawia się Pani, że taka procedura mogłaby "zaszkodzić" tabletce, proszę ją po prostu od razu połknąć.
