Should I stop treatment with Pramolan if my doctor has told me Paroxinor?

Hello, I am being treated for anxiety. I got pramolan from my FAMILY DOCTOR 2 times a day and I have been taking it for several days. Now I have turned on paroxinor and at first it may be worse. Do you continue to take pramolan?

Łączenie leków Pramolan i Paroxinor nie jest wskazane. Paroxinor wydłuża i nasila działanie Pramolanu - zwiększa to ryzyko wystąpienia działań niepożądanych, jak wystąpienie objawów niebezpiecznego dla zdrowia zespołu serotoninowego czy arytmii.

Jeśli zatem takie połączenie nie zostało ustalone z lekarzem, który wypisał Paroxinor, być może zasadne jest przerwanie terapii lekiem Pramolan. Ponieważ jednak są to leki dostępne wyłącznie na receptę, o modyfikacji w sposobie dawkowania musi zdecydować lekarz.
