Nie zaleca się takiego postępowania z tego względu, że przyjęcie 1. tabletki leku Vines w innym dniu niż 1. dzień cyklu nie zapewnia odpowiedniej skuteczności antykoncepcyjnej oraz może zaburzyć cykl. Ponadto w przypadku chęci rozpoczęcia antykoncepcji w inny dzień, konieczne jest wcześniejsze wykluczenie ewentualnej ciąży:
