Najprawdopodobniej infekcja nie była wyleczona do końca i katar wrócił po odstawieniu sterydu. Wówczas wydzielina z nosa spłynęła do gardła, powodując kaszel.
Nebbud działa przeciwzapalnie, zmniejsza obrzęk - dzięki czemu łagodzi objawy kaszlu. Ponieważ jednak lek ten dostępny jest wyłącznie na receptę, zasadność jego stosowania warto przedyskutować z pediatrą.
