How long should the extra protection be used when combining contraceptive pills with an antibiotic?

Hello, I was prescribed the antibiotic Amotaxi, I take contraceptive pills at the same time and I know that the effectiveness may be reduced. However, I have a question how long I should protect myself in a situation when I started taking an antibiotic on the second day of a new blister because I read that the risk of malfunction may be greater at the beginning of the package. Is a week after the end of the treatment enough or should I protect myself longer?

Dodatkowe zabezpieczenie w postaci prezerwatywy należy stosować przez cały okres stosowania antybiotyku oraz przez 7 dni po zakończeniu antybiotykoterapii.
