How long will I be protected if I took my first Slinda tablet on a day other than the actual menstruation day?

Good morning! I was assigned Slinda tablets, however, due to irregular menstruation, the gynecologist told me to start taking them on the day that menstruation should begin with me. My question is: how long, in this case, will the tablets start working?

Jeśli przyjęła Pani pierwszą tabletkę Slinda w dowolnym dniu cyklu (nie w pierwszym dniu faktycznej miesiączki) ochrona może nie być zachowana w pierwszym cyklu stosowania tabletek - pełna ochrona będzie zapewniona dopiero przy kolejnym opakowaniu tabletek, do tej pory należy stosować dodatkową metodę antykoncepcji w postaci prezerwatywy.
