Testy są wiarygodne zgodnie z deklaracją podaną przez producenta na opakowaniu. Informacja szczegółowa o wiarygodności testu wykonanego zgodnie z instrukcją zawsze jest zawarta w instrukcji. Przykładowo "Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań klinicznych i laboratoryjnych stwierdzono, że wiarygodność testu ciążowego wynosi 99%". Lub "dokładny w ponad 99%" alko "dokładność ponad 99,9%". Jest więc bardzo niewielki margines błędu.
