Nawet ta część tabletki, który rozpuści się w ustach, koniec końców trafi albo do przewodu pokarmowego i stamtąd wchłonie się do krwi, albo przez naczynia w jamie ustnej bezpośrednio do krwi, więc przetrzymanie pigułki w ustach nie wpływa na jej skuteczność.
Jeśli obawia się Pani, że taka praktyka może wpłynąć na skuteczność ochrony przed ciążą, proszę w przyszłości nie trzymać tabletki antykoncepcyjnej w ustach.
