Good morning, I take orlifique regularly. Yesterday, as usual, I took the pill at 8:30 p.m., then I started to feel bad and from about 11:30 p.m. I started vomiting. Very strong vomiting lasted for about an hour. Then at 01.08 I swallowed a tablet from the spare blister. The question is: could contraceptive protection have been reduced and should I now take additional protection. Greetings

No, the protection has been maintained, so there is no need for additional contraception.
Should I protect myself now?

If no further vomiting occurred after taking another Orlifique tablet at 01:08 a.m., it should be considered that contraceptive protection has been maintained and the next pill should be taken at a fixed time, i.e. at 8:30 p.m.
If you experience intense vomiting within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet, treat it as if it had been missed. If you forget a tablet, it is recommended to take the medicine as soon as possible. If the tablet is used up to 12 hours after the standard hour (i.e. in your case until 08.30), the protection is maintained.
Orlifique tablets should now be continued at a fixed time. At the end of the active tablet blister section, you will either need to select an additional active tablet from the spare pack (to stay in your old regimen) or you will need to start a new pack 1 day earlier than usual when the whole pack is finished.
