Diclofenac (the active substance contained in Itami patches) reaches a very low systemic concentration when administered to the skin (less than 1% compared to the same dose taken orally). The analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects occur mainly locally under the patch (muscles, synovial fluid), so the risk of side effects is very low. It should be remembered that with prolonged use (or use of the drug on large areas of the body), there may be an accumulation of diclofenac in the body, which will directly affect the risk of side effects (including - increasing the risk of bleeding). In conclusion, occasional use of Itami should not increase the anticoagulant effect of Xiltess. However, if you experience unusual ailments (e.g. nosebleeds, tarry stools), you should stop using the patches.
