Although vitamin D3 itself is not a stimulant (like caffeine), it can make it difficult for some people to fall asleep if taken late at night. This is due to the fact that vitamin D is naturally associated with sunlight, and its high levels in the body can theoretically inhibit the secretion of melatonin – the hormone responsible for healthy sleep.
Most Calperos preparations (e.g. Calperos Osteo or Calperos Vita-D3) contain a combination of calcium and vitamin D3. To avoid possible sleep problems and at the same time ensure the best absorption, I encourage you to take the medicine in the morning or at noon and take the tablet during a meal (the fat contained in food is necessary for the proper absorption of vitamin D3).
