Is it safe to use Metocard, Co-Prenessa and Primacor if the doctor prescribing the new preparations may not have known about taking the first one?
My mother takes metocard, but she still has high blood pressure and the doctor has turned on primacor in the evening and what prenesse in the morning. My mother didn't say that she was taking metocard and I have doubts whether she can take these drugs at the same time. Can I ask for help because the doctor is no longer there and I don't know if my mother can take these medications.

Combining these three drugs is a commonly used and acceptable practice in the treatment of resistant hypertension, as each of them acts on a different mechanism for regulating pressure.
Metocard (beta-blocker) slows down the heart rate, Co-Prenessa acts on the endocrine system of the kidneys and removes excess fluids, and Primacor dilates blood vessels – their joint action adds up, which allows you to lower high blood pressure more effectively.
Even though this combination is medically justified, mom now needs to monitor her blood pressure and heart rate very closely, especially for the first few days, as the addition of two new medications can cause a sharp drop in blood pressure (hypotension). Also pay attention to whether there is any dizziness when standing up, severe weakness or excessive sleepiness. At the earliest opportunity, it is imperative to confirm this dosage schedule with the attending physician so that he has full knowledge of all the preparations used by the mother.
