Can skipping Microgynon 21 pills on day 7 of the first pack and intercourse on days 3 and 4 of the cycle cause pregnancy?
Good evening! The first time I started taking microgynon 21, on the 7th day of taking the pill I forgot to take, I took the pill before 12 o'clock skipping, on the 3rd and 4th days of taking the pill there were unsolicited sexual intercourse! What to do, is pregnancy possible?

In the first package, contraceptive protection builds up gradually, so intercourse on the 3rd and 4th day of taking the pills took place without full protection.
Skipping a pill on day 7 additionally weakens it slightly, although making up by midnight reduces the risk.
Pregnancy is unlikely, but it cannot be completely ruled out. In this situation, please continue to take the pills regularly and take a pregnancy test about 10 days after intercourse to be sure.
In this situation, emergency contraception may be considered if a sufficiently short time has passed since intercourse (e.g. EllaOne (ulipristal acetate) – can be used up to 120 hours - 5 days after intercourse).
In order to exclude/confirm pregnancy, you can take one of the pregnancy tests available in online pharmacies or stationary pregnancy tests. Ultrasensitive tests, detecting a pregnancy that is just a few days old, include, m.in:
