Hello, can yasmin (taken since December) affect the veins on the breasts? They have been more visible for some time, sometimes they hurt, during a 7-day break the pain stops. We also protect ourselves with a condom, I take the pills at fixed hours and I do not take medications that interfere with the absorption of the pills. Could it be pregnancy? I read some disturbing information

A change in the appearance of the breasts – the visibility of veins, tenderness or pain in the breasts are some of the side effects of Yasmin. They usually do not subside with the duration of treatment.
However, this does not mean that the drug does not work. Because you are taking the pills correctly and are not taking other medicines that may impair the effectiveness of contraception, you are protected. There is no need for prophylactic use of a condom.
These symptoms do not indicate pregnancy. There is no reason to worry.
Side effects should be reported to the doctor at the next visit.
We write about why adverse drug reactions should be reported here:

If the symptoms are bothersome, the gynaecologist may decide to change the contraceptive, e.g. to a single-component one.
