Abdominal pain and mid-cycle bleeding are common side effects that may occur with Qlaira (occurs in around ≥1/100 to 1/10 of people taking the medicine).
The occurrence of abdominal pain is usually not a contraindication to continuation of therapy. However, if it hinders daily functioning, occurs frequently or does not go away, it must be consulted with a doctor.
