No, consuming large amounts of flaxseed oil, omega-3 supplements or nuts does not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant. The implant works by secreting hormones that are absorbed into the bloodstream, and these fats have no effect on its metabolism.
And if I drink linseed oil in excess, and I additionally supplement omega 3 and eat a lot of nuts, won't it affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant?
