Hello, my daughter has been taking Tamiflu 45mg for 2 days and I am terrified because she has such a terrible cough that she has never had one, all the time day and night, no cough suppressants work, even inhalations do not help, what to do? Is this a side effect of the drug? Should I continue or stop treatment? Please reply quickly, greetings.

Well, yes, because inhalations are not recommended in this case, flu. They can cause the disease to spread to the lower respiratory tract.
Good morning! I wanted to ask if you stopped administering the medicine? My children took the 3rd dose today and got a terrible, tiring cough, I don't know what to do :(
My son had a similar after 3 doses of ebilfumin - it's the same active ingredient as tamiflu, coughing like never before, no syrups helped until he vomited.

Coughing is one of the side effects of Ebilfumin, but it is not necessarily related to the medicine you are taking. The cause may be the infection itself, perhaps the child is suffering from something else besides the flu . I encourage you to consult a doctor immediately, especially if no medication helps and the cough makes it difficult or intensifies normal functioning. Based on full information about the child's health, symptoms and test results, the doctor will be able to recommend the appropriate procedure. If it is not possible to use a stationary visit, you can arrange a teleconsultation here, for example:

Side effects should be reported to the doctor, but also individually. We wrote how to do it here:
