To @Ania:
Abruptly discontinuing dietary supplements such as omega-3, berberine and vitamin D3, and mint has no direct effect on the effectiveness of birth control pills.
Birth control pills work by maintaining constant levels of hormones in the body, and certain supplements and herbs can interfere with the absorption of hormones, weakening the effectiveness of contraception.
To safely combine supplementation with contraception, please keep a time interval between supplements and the pill, at least 2-3 hours.
Good morning
And if I take omega 3 every day and berberine tablets every day and vitamin D3 and drink a lot of fresh mint every day, and if I suddenly stop taking these supplements and this mint for a week, will such a sudden change affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills?
