I missed the 16th Belara pill - can I take 23 pills in a cycle and take 4 days off?

Hello, I took the 16th tablet of belar with a delay of 15 hours. I would like to keep the current schedule of taking pills and intervals between packages, so if I take 23 tablets in the current cycle (so that the continuity is 7 tablets), I will take a 4-day break, will contraception be maintained, will I be protected?

According to the information contained in the summary of product characteristics - in the event of omission (delay of more than 12 hours) of the 16th tablet, the withdrawal bleeding break should be omitted and a new pack of tablets should be started immediately. You can then finish another pack on the day when the break usually starts. The manufacturer of the drug does not take into account the situation presented in the question - such a procedure is not recommended (if only because of the risk of cycle disorders), although theoretically it is consistent with the principles of continuity of hormonal contraception.

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem. For 7 days after missing the pill, additional protection should be used during intercourse.
