I'm 32 years old and I'm being treated for high blood pressure. I'm also obese. I take zophenil 30 every morning. This afternoon I had high blood pressure 144/108, an hour ago I took half a tablet of captopril 25 (I didn't know you can't take half). Pressure still high 130/104. Can I take a second pill?

Captopril is a prescription medicine and should be used in situations specified by the doctor. If you have any doubts about the necessity of using the preparation, I encourage you to consult your doctor. If it is not possible to make an in-person visit (e.g. at the next Night and Christmas Medical Assistance), you can take advantage of a teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

If, despite regular use of Zofenil, you happen to have an increase in blood pressure, I also encourage you to consult your doctor. Your doctor will suggest further appropriate treatment for your high blood pressure.
