I've been taking Yasmin for 10 days and I'm bleeding all the time - is this normal?

Good afternoon. I've been taking yasmin tablets for 10 days now, all 10 days I have quite a lot of bleeding, before my period was always a maximum of 5-6 days. Does this mean that the pills are not suitable for me and I need to stop taking them?

Irregular bleeding is a common side effect of all contraceptive pills, especially at the beginning of use (for the first 2-3 months). Usually, spotting symptoms disappear on their own when the hormonal balance normalizes. If you notice an exacerbation of the problem or the situation does not change in the coming months, I encourage you to consult a doctor.
