Birth control pills such as Diane-35 are an effective method of contraception as long as they are used as directed by your doctor. If the pills are taken regularly and without any deviations, then the chance of getting pregnant is very low.

However, no contraceptive method is 100% certain, and the risk of pregnancy is always there, although it is low. If there are any irregularities in taking the tablets, for example, delays, omissions, or diarrhoea/vomiting, this may affect their effectiveness.

If you suspect you may be pregnant, it is recommended that you take a pregnancy test or consult your doctor for further information and possible diagnostic tests.
