Do 2 drinks with Aperol affect the effectiveness of Dionelle?
24.99 zł

I take the contraceptive pill Dionelle, and after intercourse I drank 2 aperols that contain a large amount of oranges and herbs such as licorice, anise, rhubarb. I'm afraid it weakened the effect of the pills, so should I take the day after?

Aperol contains trace amounts of herbs, only drinking more than 10 g of licorice a day can weaken the effectiveness of contraception. So, in this case, there is nothing to be afraid of.

Even if there were herbs that shouldn't be eaten during anti-conclusion treatment?

Even if it were just a few drinks, they are still such small amounts of citrus (especially vitamin C) and herbs that it does not affect the effectiveness of birth control pills. Protection is maintained and there is no need to worry.
