Hello, my dad has been taking Clatre 2 times a day for 3 days, he claims that the doctor ordered it so. But he looks like he's muddy, he can't hear, sometimes he has trouble understanding what is being said to him, he forgets what was said to him an hour ago. In addition to this, he takes Hydroxyzinum, Sedam, Acard, unfortunately has problems with drug abuse. What happened, what is the result, can Clatra work like this?

Clatra can cause drowsiness and headache - these are common side effects. It's a good idea to confirm the dosage with your doctor, as the standard is to take one tablet a day (not two):
"Dosage: 20 mg of bilastine (1 tablet) once daily to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial) and urticaria. The tablet should be taken one hour before or two hours after a meal or fruit juice."
The medications Sedam and Hydroxyzine may cause nervous system disorders, excessive sleepiness, the described "muddiness" and memory impairment (Sedam). Taking these medications at the same time further exacerbates the listed symptoms. Long-term use of Sedam may cause the development of tolerance (the drug stops working) and dependence. A medical consultation is indicated to evaluate the patient's current treatment.
