Do you scratch Alantan will be sufficient and how it differs Alantan from Alantan Plus?
Hello, yesterday I was scratched by my younger brother quite the cheek, I went to the pharmacy to get some ointment, I was advised allantan. I read a bit about it and I also found alantan plus, which is said to work better on such scratches, and the regular one is more on burns and non-healing wounds. My question is does this make any difference and are the effects of alantan and alantan plus the same or at least similar? Does it make any difference? Is it better to go for alantan plus?

Alantan contains allantoin, Alantan plus contains dexpanthenol in addition to allantoin.
Allantoin soothes irritations, dexpanthenol accelerates healing. Use Alantan, and if the treatment does not bring the expected results, you can, for example, use an antibiotic ointment (the treatment should not exceed 5-7 days), e.g. Tribiotic, Maxibiotic.
Allantoin exfoliates and protects the skin, improves its hydration and supports wound healing by stimulating the growth of new tissue. Dexpanthenol penetrates deeply into the skin, where it is converted into pantothenic acid. An increased demand for pantothenic acid occurs in the case of skin damage and various types of diseases.
