Is there a substitute for Escitalopram Actavis that doesn't make you gain weight?

Hello,is there any substitute for escitalopram actavis that does not make me gain weight,I have been taking it for 2 months and my weight has increased by 5kg and I have the impression that I am constantly hungry. What to do about it?

Yes, escitalopram can be taken at night. However, this is a prescription drug, so the dosage should be decided by your doctor.

Any substitutes for Escitalopram Actavis will have the same active substance, so the risk of side effects (e.g. weight gain) from the substitute will be the same as if you were taking the medicine prescribed by your doctor.
