What should I supplement with Atywia Daily and metformin?

With the diagnosis of pcos and insulin resistance, I was prescribed the contraceptive pill Atywia Daily and metformine. My questions are this: 1) Can I take these pills with kidney stones? I forgot to tell the doctor that I had them out of stress.

1. Kidney stones are not a contraindication to the use of Atyvia Daily and metformin. However, if renal function is impaired (eGFR<30ml/min) stosowanie metforminy jest przeciwwskazane.
Należy przy najbliższej okazji poinformować lekarza o występującym schorzeniu.

2. Ze względu na możliwe zaburzenia wchłaniania witaminy B12 w trakcie leczenia metforminą, warto zadbać o jej suplementacje. Kwasy omega-3 mogą być suplementowane podczas stosowania antykoncepcji hormonalnej. Obniżają one poziom trójglicerydów (który może być podwyższony podczas stosowania antykoncepcji) oraz wykazują działanie antyagregacyjne, co jest ważne ze względu na potencjalny skutek uboczny antykoncepcji hormonalnej jakim są zaburzenia krzepnięcia.
