Can I stop Izotek to drink alcohol at a friend's birthday?

Hello, I'm in the course of izotek therapy for half a year and I'm going to a friend's birthday in 3 weeks and if I would stop izotek for these 3 weeks if I could drink alcohol, if so would it have any consequences associated with the treatment of acne?

Do not stop taking Izotek on your own, without consulting your doctor, especially if your only reason to stop taking the drug is to drink alcohol on your birthday. When using Izotek (which contains isotretinoin), caution is advised in alcohol consumption, so you can drink a small amount of it during treatment with the drug. A small amount so as not to burden the liver, which is responsible for the metabolism of the drug and alcohol. If you have doubts - please consult a doctor, but I strongly advise against discontinuation of the drug on your own.
