Can I use the contraceptive ring without withdrawal bleeding breaks?

Good morning, Because of endometriosis I was advised to use ginoring continuously without taking breaks. I've done this twice. I have the puck for 19 days and yesterday I got spotting with quite dark blood, which continues to this day. Is this a cause for concern. Unfortunately, I can not consult my doctor because he is on vacation. I would like to add that ginoring has been used for 3 years but I always took a break for bleeding.

As with the use of birth control pills continuously, without a withdrawal bleeding break, using the vaginal disc in the same way, the likelihood of spotting and intermittent bleeding increases. If the discs were used as directed, there is no reason to worry about the effectiveness of contraception. Please note that it is recommended to change the disc every 3 weeks. Although this is not a recommended course of use, if the disc has been used for no more than 4 weeks, contraceptive efficacy remains preserved. If the disc change occurred after 4 weeks or later, its effectiveness cannot be guaranteed.
