Why do I experience side effects after switching from Parogen to Paroxinor?

Hello, For 3 days I have been taking Paroxinor as a replacement for Parogen. Unfortunately, also for three days I feel sick all the time, I have diarrhea and lack of appetite. I have irritable bowel syndrome. Nothing happened with Parogen or is it the fault of this replacement? If so, what to do? Best regards

Although both drugs are treated as substitutes, they contain another type of paroxetine - Paroxinor - paroxetine in the form of paroxetine hemihydrate hydrochloride; Parogen - in the form of anhydrous paroxetine hydrochloride. Additionally, they differ in the composition of excipients. All this can affect a different tolerance of the drug - the response to treatment may be different, other side effects may occur. If you do not tolerate the treatment well after the change, you should return to Parogen.
