What are withdrawal bleeding with Novynette?

On Sunday I took the last Novynette tablet from the package. On Tuesday I got my period and lasted only until Thursday. Is there cause for concern? I would like to add that I have only recently started taking birth control pills. I take them regularly. Only once did I take a pill 3 hours later.

Withdrawal bleeding occurs during a 7-day break from Novynette. It usually occurs on the 2nd or 3rd day of the break. It can be more or less intense and shorter or longer than naturally occurring menstruation. Taking a Novynette tablet with a 3-hour delay does not affect the effectiveness of contraception. You have no cause for concern.
